¹ L’invalidité (art. 8 LPGA⁴⁴) peut résulter d’une infirmité congénitale, d’une maladie ou d’un accident.⁴⁵

² L’invalidité est réputée survenue dès qu’elle est, par sa nature et sa gravité, propre à ouvrir droit aux prestations entrant en considération.⁴⁶
